Clay. Where Earth Meets Art.

CONCEPT

CLAY is more than a restaurant—it’s an immersive journey into the heart of Nikkei cuisine, where Japanese precision meets Peruvian vibrancy. Nestled on Bluewaters Island, with stunning views and seamless accessibility, CLAY invites guests to explore a harmonious fusion of cultures. Every detail, from the menu to the ambiance, tells a story of migration, tradition, and innovation, offering a dining experience that is as refined as it is exciting.

DESIGN

CLAY’s design is a visual symphony of contrasts and complementing elements, blending the bold, colorful essence of South America with the refined elegance of Japan. The space is warm and inviting, with sleek black Japanese timber offset by bursts of lively Peruvian hues. A mesmerizing hanging bead installation, inspired by the Japanese abacus (soroban), adds a dynamic focal point, symbolizing precision, craftsmanship, and cultural fusion. Every element is curated to encourage exploration, discovery, and a deep connection to the rich heritage of Nikkei.

CUISINE

CLAY showcases the artistry of Nikkei cuisine, where the delicate balance of Japanese techniques meets the bold flavors of Peru. The menu offers a refined selection of sushi, omakase, ceviche, tiraditos, and Nikkei grill, all crafted with the freshest ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. Whether indulging in a traditional omakase experience, savoring Peruvian-inspired sushi, or delighting in CLAY’s signature Nikkei brunch, each dish is a testament to the evolution of cultural harmony on the plate.
